WHO WE ARE

"We The People" is a broad-based, multi-ethnic, multiracial, multidenominational, multigenerational, non-partisan national movement in the U.S. whose goal is to advocate for inclusive immigration reform to provide a humanitarian response and concrete solution to migrants living in the shadows, some for decades.

"As a coalition, our goal is to advocate for our migrant community. Right now, we are taking action by gathering 2 million signed letters to present to Congress in support of updating the registry provision of the Immigration and Nationality Act. We also stand behind the Family United Act (H.R. 2366), currently in the House of Representatives, because we believe in keeping families together. We have come together to fight for comprehensive immigration reform that unites families — not tears them apart."

"Updating the registry provision of the Immigration and Nationality Act could open a long-overdue pathway to citizenship for more than 8 million undocumented immigrants. Our migrant community is essential to the social and economic wellbeing of this nation — contributing to our workforce, caring for our families, and enriching our culture. These are our neighbors, coworkers, and friends who have built their lives here for decades. It’s time to give them the opportunity to stay the right way, honoring both their contributions and our nation’s values."
