We the People Coalition Announces ‘2 Million Letters’ Campaign, Demanding Congress Update Outdated Immigration Registry
We the People is a collective advocating for human rights and commonsense immigration reform. We come together in response to systemic abuses—from unlawful detentions and due process violations to skyrocketing enforcement budgets and mass deportations that devastate families across the country. We believe in an immigration system that reflects our nation’s values of fairness, family unity, and opportunity for all.

TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A CHANGE!
"Our immigration system is fundamentally broken, frozen in time for nearly four decades while millions of families live in fear," said a spokesperson for the We the People coalition. "The last time the registry was updated was in 1986 under President Reagan. It is un-American to force our neighbors, who have built their lives, raised families, and contributed to our communities for decades, to live in perpetual uncertainty. We are traveling across the country to carry the voices of millions directly to the steps of Congress. It is time for them to act."
